PowerBar Press Conference 2010

Recently they requested for my latest information regarding myself. One of the question is my nickname. I can't think of any besides...'Swingin' t**s'. So I wrote there, 'Swingin'. If they would to ask me why 'Swingin' during the press conference, I'll be embarass to death! =s

But that's really my nickname ma. Anyway, it's just for laugh/fun. Don't think I have one also.

I am invited to the PowerBar team elite and team excel press conference this coming Thursday (11 March 2010) at Damansara, The Curve. Gonna be a tiring trip for me. Will be traveling about 10 hours for a 2 hours event. Not too sure what to expect but I hope to meet outstanding athletes there. Need inspiration!

I still owe them pictures of me. Gonna do that tonight or else I'm not gonna appear on the website. Thank You for this great opportunity.

Conference Call Interview

Phone rang at 8.53a.m and it's a KL number. I know this was the PowerBar Team Elite interview. Took a deep breath, answered the call calmly and wished them a very good morning. The interviewer told me I'm on a conference call with a few other interviewers. In my heart was...'Uhhh...nervous la. First time doing such interview.'

First he asked me to talk a lil about my sports background, etc. Then he asked me a few questions about the product, how much do I know about the team elite, how would I be able to benefit from it, etc. The thought of PowerBar products filling my entire room was in my mind when I was answering their questions. It was just 'yummy'.

Then the 5million dollar question was asked at the very end. He asked, 'How would I benefit PowerBar in return?' I answered...

And I told him, I really want this badly. =p

Mourning into Dancing

In early October 09, I applied to be a Powerbar Team Elite member. When I came across this application, the registration were already close (30 September 09). That did not stop me from trying. I quickly contacted Penny to send me my Floorball achievements/bio to complete my sports resume. (Thanks again Penny)

And today I received this in my inbox...


I can't believe it with my eyes!!! I'm actually shortlisted even though I send in my application LATE! This is God's favor or what? =)

In life, don't just sit back and do nothing about it, even if you're late or if you made a terrible mistake. Overcome it and take that shot. You don't wanna miss 100% of it, rite? I am taking shots in most areas of my life now.
