A Man's Answer

I do know I have asked for the costliest thing
Ever made by the Hand above.
You are my heart, my life
and my ALL.

I do know I have asked for this priceless thing
And promised you that our love would be everlasting.

As a boy, I dash recklessly to you
As a young man, I plan my days to be near you.

I require nothing; neither mutton nor beef
For this does not satisfy,
My soul cries out loud.

I live to be as true as the Shining Star above
To prove that I am still worth.
A strings of disappointment and let downs,
Distorts my reputation and name.
A man and a king,
I know I would never be.

My heart may not me ocean strong but true,
Tidal waves they, reap right through me
Tears from eyes worn, cold and sad.

On the day you are made a bride,
I will do all I can to eliminate hell.
I would give all this,
If I am given a second chance.

You are right that a woman's heart and life
Are not to be won that way.
I am here to say,
This is a life lesson with a heavy price to pay.
I wish you could stay,
Till the end my days.

As a child, this is a dream I have,
But it is time to forgive and forget.
May you live happily ever after,
This will always be my prayer.

National Training II

Sometimes giving your best is not good enough.
Sometimes putting your hopes up high will just bring more disappointments.

This is what I feel after our second centralized training. BUT I'm not gonna sit around with my lazy a** doing nothing about it. Our team has improved, but still not good enough to secure a placing in this coming APAC. I feel we're missing something...communication?aggressiveness?playing as a unit? Think about it. =)

3 things that Coach Dennis talked about before starting our training sessions;
  1. Safe
  2. Solid
  3. Deliberate
Probably this is something that the coaches see we're lacking off, which is true. Playing safe; We love to make crazy passes through the middle or hold the ball too long in our defensive zone. Solid applies to all players, with us being physically smaller in comparison with other participating countries, we have to be solid in our plays, our defense, our possession of ball, etc. Being deliberate...hahaha. What I can conclude with this word is, if you play with your brains, you are deliberate, if not, you are not. Sometimes I don't play with my brains. Damn it!

Time to work on our weaknesses.

My Pledge For APAC Campaign 2010

I was talking to KY this morning and he gave me a very good suggestion/idea for the 2010 APAC fellas. We were talking about commitment and other matters regarding the team for APAC, and I feel that we should make every player sign a pledge to our Country.

Every time we represent our beloved country, Malaysia, we are accountable to Her name and reputation. If players fail to meet basic expectations like good sportsmanship, then Her name is doom. If players don't take seriously the mission of this campaign, then the whole team will be affected.

In order for our goal (earn a placing) to realize, we would love the team to sign a pledge (I will print it out on a proper paper) and to be ready to 'die' for Malaysia. =)
[will you?]

I pledge to play the game the best I can.
To be a team player.
To respect my opponents, the rules, and officials, and to improve myself in Spirit, Mind, and Body.
Win or lose, I will do the best for Malaysia.
I will be happy for the winner, and care for the loser, even when I don't feel like it.
I will try to get better every day from this second.
I will run at least 1 hour a week and train independently.
I will be committed to the team and the coaches.
I will fight till the end and never give up.
3-7 February 2010 APAC, Singapore will be a historic moment for the National Floorball Team because we will earn a qualification spot!
Yes we will!
And our first ever International Medal.
We will be history makers.

PFA Fund Raiser

I made an announcement in Church yesterday and told them about the Fund Raiser event that PFA is organizing. At the end of the service, Sam and I were selling the tickets outside. Out of 100 tickets that I have in hands. Now I only have 0! =)

Wow...I'm so encouraged by the support of my Church members. Anyway, here is the details about the fundraiser. If you're interested, please please do not hesitate to msg me.

Innebandy!Co organised a swimming outing last weekend as we do not have a court for training. Turn out was really bad. Only Darien and I were there. Haha. And the pool was filled with girls. That made him too shy to strip and get in the pool. Only after an hour, he finally came in.

There is one Chinese guy there who keeps taking off an Indian boy underwear and shorts in the pool. So sick! I can see black a** floating in the pool.

Two guys came up to me and ask me about swimming techniques and advices. I'm really glad they did. That is the reason why I train hard, so I would be able add values into people like that. =) Its an honour.

[some thinks its a freakin taffic jam, others think its a good opportunity to spend more time together]

Back to the Track

After my freakin P6 exam, I'm glad to be back to training. A one week break kinda permits laziness to creep into my system. I have to kick them out! I haven't stepped into the gym for weeks I tell you. I just can't squeeze in so many things in a day. Hopefully tomorrow.

I wanted to do a double loop tonight to increase my mileage for the week but the whether don't look too good to me when I was going for the second round and I was afraid I might kill my phone again. Oh ya, I've gotten back my phone! Hurray! At least I have some company now.

Distance: 41km
Time: 1:16
Max speed: 53.1km/h
Avg speed: 32.4km/h

I am about 7 minutes off my target time.

And I bought another cycling shorts last week. When I first saw the shorts, I was like 'Wooooohhhhhh, so small, can fit meh?' You see for yourself. haha.

[vain pic =p like 'pak bah chang']

Last Sunday's massage was really simple and truthful. What I learned was whatever dream that God has planted in your heart. It would come to past because its from Him. Of course waiting is part of the process, it may take a day, a week, a month, a year, a decade...

What dream(s) do you have?

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life

Sukpen IV 2009

"Penang Floorball Associatian has made history in Malaysia because of YOU!!"shouted Jason at the end of the two days Floorball tournament held at Shang Wu on the 4th and 5th Dec. It is the first time Floorball is ever featured in the Sukan Pulau Pinang (Sukpen) endorsed by the Majlis Sukan Malaysia Pulau Pinang. You guys really deserved a round of applause. *claps claps claps*

My special shoutout to the two schools who participated and their coaches, namely SMK Bukit Jambul and St.Xaviers. Some players had to sacrifice club duty for a higher duty, which is to represent their schools. Let continue to develop the school teams and one day we might have it on MSSPP! =)

When I first heard bout this tournament, I had an objective for my club, which is the win this tournament and put our name up there as the first ever champions for SUKPEN. That objective came through for the team and myself with a price of RM21.90. (Yup, that's how much Rooban and I paid the team) I guess sometimes a really motivation helps the team to perform better as they have a reward to look forward for.

The experience has been great, I got to make a few new friends and meet people from different clubs. We also had people who came to support us which is greatly appreciated by myself and the team.

Same ask me why do I play in this tournament. The reason is because I wanted/needed/have to leave a legacy behind for Innebandy!Co. I'm playing for the name in front of my jersey and not the name behind. I really hope I can help Innebandy!Co to be the biggest, most influential, most valuable, most sportsmanship and most successful club in the history of Malaysia. That is what the committee would like to see and we know we are getting there each week in and out. I'm happy to be part of it.

Winning this is definitely not because of my effort or participation but because each and everyone on the team rose up to the occasion and grab the moment and glory they deserved. Well done and congratulations!

[Team Innebandy!Co Champions of SUKPEN 2009]

Thank you for the All Star award, it's an honour. All glory goes to my Creator.

Today

A day to remember. Thanks for the memories.
