Team Elite for PFL DIV1 2010

Let me try to do an introduction for Innebandy!Co's team elite 2010/11. We've come a loooooooooooooooooooong way, especially for those senior/pioneer players who started with Blazing Eagles. We've struggle through our journey to reach 'today'.

We had difficulties with club growth, regular/committed players with the club, you name it we got it. I have a friend who told me, Innebandy!Co is like a baby to me. Those who have been with us since Day1 would understand the struggle and pain we've went through together. I guess that's how babies grow in a child, a youth then a real man that will withstand any challenges.

The era of Innebandy!Co relying on a few key players has come to an end! It is over and I am glad for this =) The world knows it, so do you. Our young players have grown a lot, mentally and physically. They have been 'tattooed' with the culture, training philosophies, law of victory, never give up attitude and determination during training. Even in borak-borak floorball, they said our forwards are more fledged. I really agree with this.

Sam and I talk a lot about our club when we drive back from BP. He said one of our goals this year was club growth (in terms of number of players ) and was a little disappointed because we didn't really achieve it. In a way it is pretty true, but we are growing gradually this year with the addition of Team Livestrong, adoption of schools (MGS and PFS), etc. I told him we are on the right track. With committed players in team Elite and Livestrong, they will bring in players of the same kind. And we will grow! Just like the law of Dividends. It just takes time...

This year's team is special because this is the strongest squad ever for the club. (in my opinion) Why do I say that.

Look at Chester, that cool and super calm cameraman is now hungry for goals. He can even make solo runs up and score! That is what I call entertainment.

My first game against Contact, playing forward with Jason makes me realize he is one tough bull/Park Ji-Sung and real quick in taking rebound. He KS one of the goals. =( but good for the team. =)

Rubine our solid rock in defense always making it hard for me to score during training. He has grown a lot! Way to go.

Our very own christiano ronaldo, Previn. hehehe. Has speed of lighting that will burn your a** if you don't watch out. Run baby run! I wanna be fast like you. =x

The 2009 rising rookie, Darien may not catch the attention of the crowd this year but I tell you, he is one player who knows what creativity is, and that is essential. Keep it up.

2010 Wild card, David Kok! This is the Messi in floorball. A genius on court with good killer instinct. With more games in his pocket, he would be unstoppable. ^^

The faithful Salibandien who transferred to Innebandy a few years back, Andrew has grown a lot as well. You will see his name on the score chart this year. I still remember the days of him training/playing on Tarc's tennis court. =p

The hardworking and determine Joshua, never fail to display insane courage every time he steps in court. As time passes by, he will be a greater threat to our opponents. Does the unexpected occasionally. =)

Bryan, my partner in crime. I wouldn't trade anyone to play on top with me. I'll always remember him as a cry baby in state training last time. But today, he is the one that will make others cry. I feel he is the better version of me. Good job!

My favourite ex-captain E, Ephraim is one fella that grown the most. THE MOST! I find him a really valuable asset because he is more than a player. He is a leader in the club even if he doesn't have any leadership role. He plays good floorball, tricky and will always be a threat to our opponents.

Mamaroyong Nicholes, we missed him in last year's PFL and it's great to have him on board this year. He is unpredictable and that makes him unstoppable. Sometimes we don't know what he is doing but that's the element of surprise for our opponent! =p

Captain Lin Ken...the best in his field. I guess he is one person who will determine whether we will get the Gold medal this year or otherwise. Always giving good feedback, ideas and tips. A really good loud motivator that will drive us throughout this campaign! The backbone of team Elite!

And finally...Sam...the useless defender that let in the only goal against Contact in the 19.59 minute. Lousy! hahaha! Just joking la, we still love you for that deficit. ^^ He is the brains behind the club, without him I wouldn't feel as confident playing with a different strategy. Without him, is like curry mee without curry mee chili, plain and mild. An experience solid defender with killer instinct and most importantly, he play with brains.

With this kinda teammates. Don't you think its the best we've ever gotten? They asked, Can they finally lift the title after a drought of 2 consecutive years?
My answer is...

YES!

YES! YES!

YES! YES! YES!
